Description

A visually stunning and refreshing fruit platter shaped like the American flag, perfect for Independence Day celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 cups Blueberries
  • 1 cup Raspberries
  • 2 Bananas, sliced
  • 4 cups Watermelon, cut into thick slices
  • 1 cup Pineapple, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 cup Grapes, any color

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by washing all the fruits thoroughly.
  2. Slice the watermelon into thick slices and cut out star shapes using a cookie cutter.
  3. Create the stripes by laying out watermelon pieces on one side of the platter.
  4. Add blueberries to the top left corner for the stars section of the flag.
  5. Arrange half strawberries in a row next to the blueberries.
  6. Fill in with sliced bananas next to the strawberries.
  7. Incorporate pineapple chunks alongside the bananas.
  8. Top it off with grapes, filling in any gaps.

Notes

Pair with whipped cream or yogurt for dipping. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for added freshness.
