Instructions
- Take Your Meat Out: About an hour before cooking, remove the prime rib from the fridge.
- Dry It Off: Use paper towels to pat the roast dry.
- Salt It Well: Generously season the roast with kosher salt on all sides.
- Add Pepper and Garlic Powder: Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper and garlic powder all over.
- Infuse with Olive Oil: Drizzle olive oil over the seasoned roast.
- Add Fresh Herbs: Crush fresh herbs and rub them all over the roast.
- Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Place your prime rib in a roasting pan and pop it into the preheated oven.
