Description

A delicious and easy twist on the classic tuna melt, wrapped in a soft whole wheat tortilla with creamy tuna salad, melted cheese, and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 whole wheat wrap or tortilla
  • 1/4 cup diced vegetables (such as bell pepper, celery, or onions)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce or spinach for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by draining the can of tuna and placing it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix the tuna mixture with mayonnaise and Dijon mustard, stirring until combined.
  3. Incorporate the diced vegetables into the tuna mixture.
  4. Load up that cheese and mix well to combine.
  5. Prepare the wrap by laying it flat on a plate and spooning the tuna mixture down the center.
  6. Wrap it up by folding in the sides and rolling tightly from the bottom.
  7. Toast the wrap in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side, if desired.
  8. Slice it diagonally to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize with different vegetables or cheeses. You can also serve with a dipping sauce like aioli or salsa.
