Description
A creamy and flavorful Stuffed Mushroom Dip that’s perfect for gatherings and will have your taste buds singing!
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley or thyme), chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Sauté the Mushrooms: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Clean and slice your mushrooms (about 1 cup). Toss them into the skillet with a pinch of salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and tender.
- Mix it up! In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy and smooth—about 1-2 minutes. Add the sour cream and blend until combined. Gradually add the shredded mozzarella cheese while mixing.
- Combine the Flavors: Once the mushrooms have cooled slightly, add them to the mixing bowl along with the minced garlic and chopped fresh herbs. Mix everything together until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fold in the 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Cool down slightly before serving. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh herbs.
