  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon chicken base (such as Better Than Bouillon)
  • A few dashes hot sauce of choice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil: In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat for about a minute.
  2. Sauté the onions and peppers: Toss in the diced onion and diced jalapeños, sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  3. Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
