Description

- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup strawberry Jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- Fresh strawberries for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Combine the white cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl, and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Dissolve the strawberry Jello in 1 cup of boiling water and set it aside to cool.
- Poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake using a wooden spoon or skewer.
- Pour the cooled Jello evenly over the poked cake and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Spread Cool Whip over the top of the cake once it has soaked the Jello.
- Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries and chill for at least another hour before serving.
- Slice and serve to enjoy!
