Description

A moist and flavorful poke cake soaked in strawberry Jello, topped with fluffy Cool Whip and fresh strawberries—a perfect dessert for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup strawberry Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • Fresh strawberries for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the white cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl, and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Dissolve the strawberry Jello in 1 cup of boiling water and set it aside to cool.
  5. Poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake using a wooden spoon or skewer.
  6. Pour the cooled Jello evenly over the poked cake and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Spread Cool Whip over the top of the cake once it has soaked the Jello.
  8. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries and chill for at least another hour before serving.
  9. Slice and serve to enjoy!
