Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Mash the overripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth with some lumps.
- Mix in the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Incorporate the flour, baking soda, and salt, folding gently until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with warmed peanut butter, swirling it into the batter.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the dish for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
