- 2 cups Cooked Sushi Rice
- 1 pound Fresh Salmon Fillet
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup Spicy Mayo
- 1/4 cup Green Onions, chopped
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- 2–3 Nori Sheets, cut into strips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grab a baking dish (about 9×13 inches).
- Cook your sushi rice according to package directions, usually around 20 minutes, then let it rest.
- Chop the fresh salmon into bite-sized pieces. In a medium bowl, combine salmon, 1/4 cup spicy mayo, and cream cheese.
- Spread the cooked sushi rice evenly in the bottom of your baking dish, compacting it.
- Layer the salmon mixture over the rice evenly.
- Mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and sesame seeds, then sprinkle over the salmon layer.
- Bake for about 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and a drizzle of spicy mayo if desired.
Notes
You can assemble the sushi bake a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
