Slow Cooker Caramel Apple Cobbler

  • Author: islamerrick
  • Total Time: 40 minute
  • Yield: 6–8 1x

Description

This cobbler wraps tender cinnamon-spiced apples in a buttery, golden topping with swirls of rich caramel. A pinch of nutmeg brings warmth, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top makes it downright irresistible. Let your slow cooker do the work — dessert is served.

Ingredients

Scale

67 cups peeled, sliced apples (like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

¼ cup brown sugar

½ cup jarred caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

For the topping:

1 box yellow cake mix

½ cup melted butter

Instructions

In a bowl, toss apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Spread into a greased slow cooker.

Drizzle caramel sauce evenly over the apples.

Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top (do not stir).

Pour melted butter over the cake mix, covering as evenly as possible.

Cover and cook on HIGH for 2½–3 hours or LOW for 4–5 hours, until topping is set and golden.

Spoon into bowls, drizzle with more caramel, and top with vanilla ice cream.
