Ingredients

- Steak (Ribeye or Sirloin)
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- ¼ cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives, chopped
- Zest and juice of 1 Lemon
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine softened butter, garlic, parsley, chives, lemon zest, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Take your steak out and let it sit for 30 minutes at room temperature. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Preheat your grill or skillet to high heat.
- Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving it.
- Flip the steak and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes for medium-rare. Add cowboy butter on top in the last minute of cooking.
- Remove the steak and let it rest for 5-10 minutes to redistribute juices.
- Slice against the grain and drizzle with melted cowboy butter before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize the herbs and add spice for a twist. This recipe can also be made vegetarian using portobello mushrooms.
