Description

A flavorful journey of tender steak drizzled with herby cowboy butter, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Steak (Ribeye or Sirloin)
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives, chopped
  • Zest and juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine softened butter, garlic, parsley, chives, lemon zest, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Take your steak out and let it sit for 30 minutes at room temperature. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet to high heat.
  4. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving it.
  5. Flip the steak and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes for medium-rare. Add cowboy butter on top in the last minute of cooking.
  6. Remove the steak and let it rest for 5-10 minutes to redistribute juices.
  7. Slice against the grain and drizzle with melted cowboy butter before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the herbs and add spice for a twist. This recipe can also be made vegetarian using portobello mushrooms.
