- 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and caramel candies gently.
- Scoop out dough onto baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden, slightly underbaking the center.
- Sprinkle with sea salt immediately after removing from the oven.
- Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
