  • 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and caramel candies gently.
  6. Scoop out dough onto baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden, slightly underbaking the center.
  8. Sprinkle with sea salt immediately after removing from the oven.
  9. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
