Ingredients

  • 45 cloves garlic
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or penne)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roast the cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet with olive oil, salt, and pepper for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Prepare the garlic by chopping or mincing it.
  4. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Sauté the minced garlic in olive oil for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with sautéed garlic, roasted tomatoes, and fresh basil.
  7. Plate the pasta, adding optional Parmesan cheese and olive oil.
