Ingredients
For the Cake:
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup light brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup creamy peanut butter
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
For the Frosting:
½ cup creamy peanut butter
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk (as needed)
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and both sugars.
Add butter and peanut butter; mix until crumbly.
Add eggs, vanilla, and milk. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cake cool completely before frosting.
For the frosting: Beat peanut butter and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until fluffy and spreadable.
Frost the cooled cake and enjoy!
