Ingredients

  • Fresh Peaches (about 4 large)
  • Fresh Raspberries (1 cup)
  • Granulated Sugar (¾ cup)
  • All-Purpose Flour (1 cup)
  • Baking Powder (1 tablespoon)
  • Salt (½ teaspoon)
  • Milk (½ cup)
  • Butter (½ cup, melted)
  • Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and slice your peaches into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Combine sliced peaches and raspberries in a large bowl.
  4. Add ¼ cup of sugar and toss to coat the fruit. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes.
  5. Whisk together the flour, remaining ½ cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Create a well in the dry mixture and add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined.
  7. Transfer the peach and raspberry mixture to a greased 8×8-inch baking dish. Pour any accumulated juices over the fruit.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the cobbler mixture over the fruit.
  9. Bake for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
