1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup diced pimentos (drained)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
1 sheet refrigerated pie crust or puff pastry
1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a bowl, mix cheddar, cream cheese, mayo, pimentos, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
Roll out pie crust and cut into small rounds (about 2 inches).
Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each round, fold over, and press edges to seal with a fork.
Brush tops with egg wash.
