Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, or ramen work well)
1 tbsp oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional, for extra depth)
1 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
2 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease if needed.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Let simmer 2–3 minutes.
Mix cornstarch slurry (cornstarch + water) and add to the skillet. Stir until sauce thickens.
Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until well coated.
Top with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot!
