- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 large Eggs
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- ½ cup Fresh Lemon Juice
- Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and sugar.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until edges pull away and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
