Description

A tangy twist on classic brownies, these lemon brownies are rich, fudgy, and bursting with fresh lemon flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 large Eggs
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • ½ cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Powdered Sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and sugar.
  4. In another bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until edges pull away and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
