Instructions
- Boil Water: Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a rolling boil.
- Add Pasta: Toss in pasta and cook until al dente as per package instructions.
- Reserve Pasta Water: Save about a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- Heat Oil: In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Make Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, then gradually add parmesan cheese, stirring continuously.
- Season: Taste and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine: Toss drained pasta into the skillet, mixing well. Add reserved pasta water as needed.
- Serve: Plate the pasta, garnishing with parsley and extra parmesan cheese, if desired.
Notes
For a lightened version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or cashew cream. This pasta is versatile—add proteins or veggies based on preference!
