Description

A comforting classic that combines tender steak with a rich garlic butter and Parmesan cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • Steak (Ribeye or Sirloin)
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Garlic (thinly sliced)
  • Heavy Cream
  • Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak by removing it from the fridge and seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Sear the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  4. Add minced garlic and butter to the pan, basting the steak.
  5. Rest the steak on a plate covered loosely with foil.
  6. Make the sauce in the same skillet by adding heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until thickened.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream; adjust thickness with beef broth if needed.
