Ingredients
- Steak (Ribeye or Sirloin)
- Unsalted Butter
- Garlic (thinly sliced)
- Heavy Cream
- Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
- Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the steak by removing it from the fridge and seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
- Sear the steak for 3-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
- Add minced garlic and butter to the pan, basting the steak.
- Rest the steak on a plate covered loosely with foil.
- Make the sauce in the same skillet by adding heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until thickened.
Notes
For a lighter sauce, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream; adjust thickness with beef broth if needed.
