Description

Juicy ribeye steaks seared in garlic butter and topped with a rich Parmesan cream sauce, perfect for special dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (About 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Remove your ribeye steaks from the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on the first side until a crust forms.
  4. Flip the steaks, add garlic and remaining butter, and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Pour heavy cream into the same skillet, scrape up browned bits, and stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  7. Slice the steaks against the grain and drizzle with the Parmesan cream sauce, garnishing with parsley.

Notes

Let the steaks rest before slicing to maintain juiciness. Consider a side of mashed potatoes or garlic roasted vegetables.
