Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add Crushed Tomatoes: Pour in crushed tomatoes, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the Heavy Cream: Gradually mix in heavy cream, stirring continuously until creamy.

  6. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, using reserved pasta water to adjust the consistency if needed.

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half or coconut milk for heavy cream. Make it vegan by using coconut milk and nutritional yeast.
