- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the broccoli by chopping into small florets and blanching in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Sauté the chicken in the same skillet with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Make the cream sauce by pouring in the heavy cream and adding half the shredded cheese until melted and bubbling.
- Combine the chicken mix with blanched broccoli and half of the crumbled bacon in a large bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese and bacon.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using flavored oils for sautéing or adding more vegetables. This dish freezes well before baking.
