- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated

- Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil and cook the penne according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Add the Cream: Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer gently for a couple of minutes.
- Introduce the Cheese: Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until it melts into the sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine the Pasta and Sauce: Once the pasta is done, reserve a cup of pasta water, drain the pasta, and toss it into the skillet with the sauce. Adjust consistency with reserved water as needed.
- Final Touches: Stir to coat the pasta evenly and let it heat through for a minute. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
- Plate and Garnish: Serve garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
