Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1½ tbsp powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Unroll crescent dough and cut each triangle in half to make smaller triangles.
Place a small spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each triangle.
Top with about ½ teaspoon cranberry sauce and a sprinkle of nuts if using.
Fold corners over the filling and pinch to seal.
Brush with egg wash and place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving warm.
