- 12 oz egg noodles
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk or chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers (optional, for topping)
- 2 tbsp butter (for topping, optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk or broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in cooked noodles, chicken, and frozen vegetables until well combined.
- Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly.
- Top with shredded cheese if using.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs or crushed crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated—just add 10 extra minutes to bake time.
- Swap cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom or celery if preferred.
- Add sautéed onions or mushrooms for extra flavor.
