A savory Chicken Shawarma Wrap filled with tender marinated chicken, spiced just right, wrapped in lavash and drizzled with rich garlic sauce.

- 1 lb Chicken Thighs
- 4 Lavash
- ½ cup Garlic Sauce (Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt)
- 1 Onion (thinly sliced, tossed with sumac)
- Pickles (dill or bread-and-butter)
- Fries (optional)
- Spices (2 tsp Cumin, 2 tsp Paprika, 1 tsp Garlic Powder, 1 tsp Turmeric, salt, and pepper to taste)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Toss in the chicken thighs and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare your Garlic Sauce: Combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Cook the Chicken: Preheat skillet, add olive oil, and cook marinated chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Make the Sumac Onions: Slice onion and toss with sumac and a pinch of salt.
- Assemble the Wrap: Lay the lavash out, drizzle garlic sauce, add chicken, sumac onions, pickles, and fries.
- Roll it Up: Roll the lavash tightly around the fillings, tucking in the sides.
- Toast the Wrap (optional): Place the assembled wrap in the skillet, seam-side down, and toast for 2 minutes until golden brown.
