Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
- 1/2 cup milk or beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add onions and garlic; cook for another 3–4 minutes until translucent.
- Combine other ingredients in the skillet: cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk or broth, 1.5 cups shredded cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer to a greased casserole dish, spreading evenly.
- Top with remaining 0.5 cup of shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve it up after letting it cool for 5-10 minutes.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and is freezer-friendly.
