Ingredients
20 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ cup unsalted butter
½ cup light brown sugar, packed
1 oz packet dry Italian dressing mix
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with pepper and sear on both sides until lightly golden, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and Italian seasoning mix until fully combined. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to create a glaze.
Pour the glaze over the chicken in the baking dish, coating evenly.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
