Description

A vibrant, crunchy Broccoli Salad that brings back childhood memories, perfect for potlucks or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh Broccoli florets
  • 6 slices Smoked Bacon
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 23 tablespoons Vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your Broccoli by washing it under cool running water and cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook the Bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Make the Dressing by combining mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar in a mixing bowl and whisking until smooth.
  4. Chop the Onions and Almonds as prepared for the salad.
  5. Combine everything in a large bowl, mixing gently to coat the broccoli.
  6. Season it up with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Let it Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This salad can be made ahead of time and stored for up to 3 days. Consider adding cheese or fruits for variations.
