  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (chopped, fresh or thawed if frozen)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup onion (diced)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or oil for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch or similar baking dish.
  2. Steam or microwave the broccoli until just tender, then chop into small pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the chopped broccoli, diced onion, and half of the shredded cheddar.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
