These bang bang chicken skewers are a flavor-packed twist on a takeout favorite. Juicy marinated chicken grilled to perfection and brushed with a creamy, sweet-heat bang bang sauce. They’re fun, fiery, and made for dipping—ideal for backyard BBQs or easy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
For the chicken:
1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
For the bang bang sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust for heat)
1 tablespoon honey
Juice of ½ lime (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
In a bowl, toss chicken with olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, whisk together all bang bang sauce ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Lightly oil the grates.
Grill skewers for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
Brush generously with bang bang sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
Serve hot with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
