  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 cup pudding mix (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the large egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and then mix into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips and any optional ingredients.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
