Ingredients
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 tbsp lemon zest
18 asparagus spears, ends trimmed
6 slices provolone cheese
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare Chicken: Cut a pocket in each breast lengthwise without slicing all the way through.
Stuff: Fill each chicken breast with 3 asparagus spears and 1 slice of provolone.
Season: Rub each piece with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, lemon zest, garlic powder, and paprika.
Bake: Arrange in a baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and golden.
