Ingredients

1 small whole chicken (about 3 lbs)

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1 tsp dried herbs (thyme, basil, or oregano)

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp granulated garlic

1 orange, halved


Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, herbs, paprika, and garlic.

Pat the chicken dry and rub the spice oil mixture all over the bird, including under the skin if possible.

Place orange halves inside the chicken cavity.

Place the chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook for 30 minutes, then flip and cook another 25–30 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 165°F.

Rest 10 minutes before carving.
